EOE Statement Open Date2/22/2018 Full-Time/Part-Time Position AMDOTS Test Suite (JNY)Location MCSG - Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs Shift -not applicable-DescriJOB SUMMARY: MCSG Technologies is seeking an AMDOTS (Air Missile DefenseOperational Test Suite) Test Suite at Peterson AFB.This position is contingent upon contract award.PRIMARY DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with various organizations to install, administer, and maintain RMUs(Remote Monitoring Unit). RMUs shall support automated data collection andretrieval for the AMDOTS Data Warehouse.Set up, configure and support internal and external networks. Continue todevelop and maintain all systems, applications, security and networkconfigurations.Troubleshoot network performance issues; identify potential problems andprovide recommendations to resolve those problems.Periodically update and maintain AMDOTS disaster recovery and contingencyplans; recommend upgrades, patches, new applications and equipment;and provide technical support and guidance to users as required.Update and maintain RMU's system configuration documentation to includeinternal and external interfaces, and the configuration control andmanagement plan.Develop and update procedures to maintain AMDOTS equipment. These proceduresshall be provided to the Government.Maintain external user log of organizations requesting AMDOTSassistance/support.Evaluate and update site 'As Built' documentation/tech solutions ofinstallation of RMUs as site modifications are identified.Support the operating system installation and maintenance of RMUsAs requested by the Government, travel to various sites per year to installequipment, load new software and troubleshoot AMDOTS equipment.Update and provide the data loading and transforming functions documentationand source code. Upgrade and maintain the AMDOTS Data Warehouse, includingthe Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) software source code anddocumentation; SQL Server database scripts, procedures, maintenanceplans, and documentation; and automated reporting features. Develop aninstallation schedule, coordinate with site personnel, install and verifya new release at each location.Automate and maintain data transmission from source to the AMDOTS DataWarehouse (end-to-end) to include disaster recovery and contingency plan.Develop and deliver all software and documentation for data collection, dataretrieval, data processing and AMDOTS Data Warehouse.Ensure that no harmful code or similar programming effects are coded orintroduced into the AMDOTS system.
