Applied Defense Solutions currently has an opening for a BusinessDevelopment/Capture Manager at our Colorado Springs, CO office.KEY ROLE:The Business Development/Capture Manager will be a key member of thebusiness development team focused on identifying and winning new space-relatedbusiness with Air Force and other Department of Defense (DoD) customers.Responsible for establishing and maintaining a pipeline of new businessopportunities from identification through capture and proposal submission.REQUIRED SKILLS:10 years of experience with business development and/or capture efforts forthe Air Force, DoD, and government clients10 years of experience with Space Domain or satellite programsProven experience with developing and maintaining effective internal andexternal business relationships with clients and industry partnersExpertise in all aspects of the business development life cycle fromidentification of new opportunities through capture, proposal development,and new program startAbility to lead teams and stakeholders throughout the capture processNetwork of existing relationships with large and small businesses in the AirForce or DoD, including teaming contactsAbility to form partnerships with industry and academiaBA or BS degree requiredTS/SCI security clearance.DESIRED SKILLS:Work with aggressive timelines, in a team environment with a willingness tolearn and growBS or MS degree in an engineering or technically related fieldExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPrior military experience.Submit questions to Reference Job #0548.
