Philips Continuous Improvement Lead in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Support IGT-D KPI's through the application of lean principles in a manor that fosters team development of lean skills.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Prioritize and drive performance improvements that will have the biggest overall impact on the business results and on delivering operational excellence to customers, by challenging the status quo, coaching, and embedding a mindset of continuous improvement to achieve performance excellence.

You are responsible for

  • Managing the deployment and embedding of new, critical capabilities brought by the business transformation portfolio of programs in line with Market, Business Group (GG) or Function’s needs

  • Maintain Continuous Improvement (CI) methodology and tools on one or more specific areas.

  • Decide and arrange specific Train the Trainer Sessions

  • Calibrate, assess and coach the organization in determining CI Maturity.

  • Support the business in resolving issues, using the known lean and 6S tools and the CI methodology, Kaizen events and 6S projects as a way to improve Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory within your assigned geography / business perimeter.

  • Ensure your kaizen events – 6S projects are properly planned / executed / sustained.

  • Asses key business metrics and situations from a “Site Leader's” point of view and engage with the Management Team (MT) and middle managers helping them in identifying opportunities where lean, 6S and CI tools can be used to improve such metrics and situations.

  • Drive continuous improvement

You are a part of

The continuous improvement organization responsible for new acquisition integration, in charge of ensuring a smooth and sustainable transition for new acquisition to be part of Philips.You will be part of one of the most exciting integration for the Image Guided Devices (IGT) Devices business group, directly impacting the integration results by working with the business in improving processes and impacting the P&L.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Degree in Business or Engineering required; Master's Degree preferred

  • 8 + years relevant working experience in a global operating company in a regional or global role.

  • Be capable to drive change with sense of urgency and bias for action

  • Mastery of Philips Excellence Practices, esp. Lean, Continuous Improvement preferred
