This position provides an opportunity to further advance thecutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation s coredefense/intelligence services and systems. General Dynamics Mission Systemsemployees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allowthem to carry out high-stakes national security missions.REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of 8500.2 and SP 800-53controls to create and/or update DIACAP/RMF authorization packages. Thecandidate will be expected to communicate and work closely with process andsystem owners, information technology management, IA peers, ProgramOffice technical/management staff and other C2BMC Functional Areas to ensurethe relevance of architecture and system designs in implementing program IArequirements. The majority of the A&A work will include technicaldocumentation, working authorization packages in eMASS, assessing IAvulnerabilities, engineering responses for system POA&Ms, conductingrisk analysis for Risk Acceptance Requests (RARs) and providing IA supportto C2BMC program and customer meetings.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:The position requires a working knowledge of Information Assurance (IA)technology, NIST standards, DoDI 8500.2 and SP 800-53. Must haveexperience in the Cybersecurity Lifecycle to include: IA requirements, IAarchitecture, IA tools, IA verification and IA compliance. Effectiveinterpersonal skills are required with a demonstrated ability to supportcomplex organizational relationships. Excellent technical document preparationand verbal communication skills are required.IAT -LEVEL IIPREFERRED DEGREE TYPES AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's Degree (engineering related) and DoDI 8570 certification(GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP) or higher.The position requires recent hands on Assessment & Authorization (A&A)experience creating DIACAP and/or RMF packages. The position requires a strong working knowledge of IA concepts such as patchmanagement, two-factor authentication, host-based security, intrusiondetection, security event management and defense-in-depth. Must haveexperience with IA requirements, RMF controls, risk assessment, POAMsand compliance reporting for mission systems. Excellent interpersonal skillswith a demonstrated ability to support complex organizational relationships,technical document preparation and verbal communication skills are requiredfor presentation of reports.
