Reasonable accommodations may be made to enableindividuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Identified Core DutiesClassroom Management-Academic-Show UpInstruction - Teaching / Tutoring -Academic-ConnectGladiator Connections/Advocacy-Academic-ConnectStudent Learning-Academic-SucceedClassroom ManagementClassroom Attendance● Establish clear classroom attendance expectations for students.● Maintain expected student communication and documentattendance utilizing identified GOAL systems.Academic Intervention - MTSS● Monitor student attendance data to identify and provideinterventions to students who are not actively engaged in class.● Ensure quality and timely documentation of all interventions provided.Active Student and Parent Communication● Communicate regularly with students and parents to keep thestudent progressing toward academic success, including but not limited to,providing progress reports, class expectations, student participationrates and when needed, arrange student/parent teacher conferences.Instruction - Teaching / TutoringQuality Courses and Instruction● Utilize GOAL established guidelines for quality coursestructure and instructional practices.Grading and Gradebooks● Maintain complete and accurate grading and gradebooks in theGOAL LMS (Schoology).● Ensure weekly gradebook updates by the close of business each Friday.Student LearningAssess and Monitor Growth● Champion GOAL's culture of assessment by ensuring studentparticipation and proctoring throughout the year.● Utilize pre/post assessment data to monitor and guide academic growth.● Identify and set student growth targets and/or needed interventions.Success Team● Participate in bi-weekly meetings to collaborate with teammembers to analyze data surrounding student performance and passer ratings.● Work with team to develop strategies to improve studentperformance in classes and curriculum.Gladiator Connections/AdvocacyCommunication● Build connections with staff, students, and parents tokeep the student progressing toward academic success, including, but notlimited to, providing progress reports and student, parent, staff conferences.Extra-Curricular● Possess and share a general knowledge of GOAL Academy'sextra-curricular activities and student opportunities.Teamwork● Participate in daily POD huddles to establish clear lines ofcommunication and define daily responsibilities with fellow POD teammates forthe success of assigned students.Attendance● Maintain daily student communication and document attendanceutilizing identified GOAL systems.Minimum Requirements:Education:● Bachelor's Degree in Education, English, Mathematics,Science, Social Sciences, or related field.● Highly Qualified as a Colorado Secondary Educator (e.g.,Math, English, Science, Social Studies, CTE credentialed or licensedin Electiv● Colorado Teaching license and/or additional Highly Qualifiedareas preferred (Agriculture & Natural Resources, Business and PublicAdministration, Health Sciences & Public Safety, Hos
