Job Description Summary:Responsible for wiring main electrical panels and ensuring specifications andtolerances are met.Primary Responsibilities: Routes, wires, assembles, and installs electrical and electroniccomponents into CNC main control panels according to specifications,diagrams, and other computer-generated models of CNC routers. Looks for faulty components and mistakes in specifications. Reportsquality control issues immediately to supervisor. Reads and interprets instructions, assembles parts and tools, andfits electronic components together. Assists with Electrical Panel problems that arise during the start-up ofthe machines.Qualifications: One year certificate from college or technical school, and two yearsrelated experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of educationand experience. Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safetyrules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units ofmeasure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist level on an occasional basis. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this position include: colorvision, peripheral vision and depth perception. The individual will be frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock,fumes and/or airborne particles.Other: 1st shift hours are Monday thru Thursday from 7am 4:45pm, Fridayfrom 7am 11am, occasional Saturday overtime. 2nd shift hours are Monday thru Thursday from 4pm 2:45am,Friday s off, occasional Saturday overtime.
