Currently, we are searching for a talented Employee Dining Room Serving Attendant to join the team of the Cheyenne Mountain Resort Colorado Springs, a Dolce Resort andis responsible for assisting minor food preparation, serving, handling and storing food following all sanitation guidelines, and for maintaining the Employee Cafeteria clean and organized at all times.
Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
Ensures dining room setting and clears tables.
Comply at all times with hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
Collect money from employees and make correct change.
Prepare cashier report at end of shift.
Greet employees at appropriate in a timely manner.
Perform opening and closing duties according to established side-work checklist
Be attentive of employee’s needs and assist in providing a pleasant dining experience.
Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials.
Answer the phone according to standards.
Communicate effectively and courteously over the telephone.
Take employee’s order according to hotel standards.
Assist cook in the serving or preparing food, as needed.
Ensure quality control of menus with regard to cleanliness and appearance.
Ensure overall employee satisfaction.
Performing other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Related experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Able to stand during entire shift
