Lockheed Martin Enviroment, Safety & Health Sr. Manager in Colorado Springs, Colorado

This position reports directly to the RMS ESH Director and will be located at one of the RMS sites. As the lead for the enterprise RMS team, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Managing the enterprise RMS ESH team, including the functions of OSHA recordkeeping, workers’ compensation, small site support, and ESH communications - Driving the development and implementation of strategic ESH initiatives for target zero and go green - Applying program management techniques to ensure compliance to international, federal, state and local regulations and corporate policies - Building effective team and customer relationships through open communications - Using program/project management experience to proactively shape organization’s processes - Providing oversight, monitoring, trending and improvements to ESH metrics and ensuring consistency in process, procedures and policies throughout the organization - Leading the integration of ESH into the business lifecycle of RMS, including new business pursuits and real estate transactions - Ensuring ESH management systems are in place and assessing/addressing effectiveness - Maximizing the use of common tools to assess and manage ESH risks - Sustainability - Customer engagement - Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications Candidate must possess: - Demonstrated success with project management including budget and schedule. - Proven full spectrum leadership skills and experience in a fast-paced, diverse environment. - Ability to establish clear objectives and expectations, hold employees accountable and deliver results, having built on the Join the Journey tenants including a culture of accountability. - Demonstrated ESH background with excellent operations skills. - Experience with OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA and FAA compliance programs including developing, maintaining and fostering positive relationships with regulators. - Experience and success managing Lockheed Martin Corporate programs for compliance, target zero and go green at the business area level. - Decision making skills that allow for arriving at the best solutions and then being able to quickly implement those decisions or solutions. - Organizational skills to meet daily dynamic work schedule modifications and make necessary schedule and/or resource adjustments. (work order planning, scheduling and coordination, forecasting, reporting etc.) - Interpersonal, communication, team-building and customer service skills enabling effective communication and coordination amongst a diverse population. - Work measurement skills enabling the collection of appropriate operational data, ensuring the integrity of the data and presenting it in a clear and understandable manner - Teaming and collaboration skills enabling effective work relationships with a wide variety of employees in multiple disciplines, including internal and external customers and the Integrated Support Services team. - Demonstrated success with project management including budget and schedule. - Ability to travel regularly (25%)

Desired skills - Demonstrated ability to manage teams at geographically diverse locations. - LM 21 Certified Black Belt. - Experience implementing and managing ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and OSHA VPP programs. - Experience managing distributed/virtual organization. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline or the equivalent of a minimum of 7 years’ experience/leadership managing ESH operations.
