Oracle Head of DMP Strategy and Sales - Retail & Restaurants - ODC in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).
Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience including 9 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.

Reporting into the VP Retail andRestaurant sales , you will be one of the rock star heroes who makes the OracleData Cloud an indispensable part of the day-to-day marketing efforts of themost innovative brands in the retail space. You will bring in new business byidentifying key decision makers and influencers at both the retail brand andtheir agency partners. You will activate their engagement, with specific focuson DMP sales, and applications of our offerings to their unique business needs.You will define and negotiate business terms, and successfully close. We reexcited about the unique assets we have to work with, and helping retailersthink through and solve interesting challenges. We need a results-drivenhunterwho is more than just a salesperson; a solution oriented consultant with versatility and substance whohappens to be wired for going after new business and big wins and has a trackrecord of closing them.
NEW BUSINESS ACTIVATION Research, engage, and activate newbusiness from top retailers and retail brands, working both directly and viaagency partnerships. Work specifically within marketing organization to engageclient ad tech needs, and successfully position the Oracle DMP.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE: 10 years of experience in the ad sales/ad tech/ client services sector. Demonstrated success in establishing strongclient and agency relationships. Abilityto translate our suite of dynamic DMP solutions into true success for ourclients.
SALES SUCCESS: A proven track record ofsuccess in developing and closing new business.
RETAIL EXPERTISE: Retail domain expertise and relationships a great networkof Retail clients and former clients. A solid understanding of the challengesand options available to Retail marketers.
MULTI-CHANNEL SAVVY: An understanding of the key players within various traditional (and digital) marketing channels, andthe ability to ideate data and analytics strategies across them.
