IP Automation Maintenance Lead in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Summary:The Maintenance Lead person is responsible for keeping all the operatingsystems operating smoothly and without major downtime or highfailure costs. Also this position is responsible for implementing specialproject work as directed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Suggests and implements process improvements that will generate costreductions. Repairs system or equipment failures of mechanical or electrical nature. Completes work orders in a timely manner and communicates status of workorders. Analyze equipment failures and make recommendations for minimizingdowntime and extending equipment life. Coordinates maintenance repairs with production to minimize equipmentdowntime. Controls the machine library where manuals and supplier information is kept. Maintains maintenance records and histories on processes and facilities. Generates and trains employees on preventative maintenance proceduresand schedules Supports introduction and implementation of new processes andtechnologies into production areas. Supports the environmental policies of IP Automation and disposes ofwaste materials in accordance with state and federal laws. Assumes any other responsibilities assigned by supervisor.Qualifications: High School diploma. Five years maintenance experience, with technical training associatedegree preferred. Working knowledge of CNC, welding and pressing machinery. Self-motivated, self-directed. Good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to repair machinery. Capable of reading blueprints, electrical and pneumatic schematics. Must be able to teach and work with inexperienced employees. Must be innovative, capable of change and able to work under pressure.
