Requirements Management Engineer

Key Role:

Review, assess, develop, organize, and document requirements for the Air Force’s space launch ranges, formally designated the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS). Work with IBM’s Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) requirement management tool. Analyze technical requirements in the context of system design to aid in LTRS specification updates, including support to project definition, development, integration, architecture, production, test and evaluation, fielding, and sustainment efforts. Interact with government program management and contractor engineers to assist in defining the scope of projects, and support baseline changes to requirements and interfaces. Update and optimize the requirements database in DOORS, to include adding and linking new documents, tracking changes, reviewing and incorporating requirement revisions, and assessing database health and utility.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with system engineering

-Experience with computer-based tools, including word processing, spread sheets, and databases

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with space launch range, including operations program management

-Experience with DOORS requirements management tool

-Experience with system engineering requirements development and analysis

-Experience with system engineering lifecycle processes

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical and time management skills

-Secret clearance preferred

-BA or BS degree in an engineering discipline preferred
