Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.

Oracle University is seeking to hire dynamic Sales Consultants to drive engagement with key PaaS customers and position the value of Oracle s PaaS and Cloud Infrastructure Learning solutions. This individual contributor role will focus on understanding customer learning needs and offering learning solutions towards enabling customers adopt Oracle s PaaS and OCI solutions and derive better ROI on their software investment.


Engage with key PaaS/Cloud Infrastructure customers; assess customer adoption stage and their employee learning needs, map to available learning solutions, and thus create learning proposals which results in faster and effective adoption by customer, and better ROI on software investment.

-{PS..0}->Own and drive specific account plans for the Key / Named accounts.

Design and execute the Learning go-to-market strategy including leveraging partners, marketing campaigns, and attachment to software deals resulting in training business pipeline to ensure achievement of business targets.

-{PS..1}->Support local education sales reps on creating comprehensive learning solutions, participate in RFPs, coaching on Oracle s PaaS/Cloud Infrastructure value proposition, and building cross-LOB awareness regarding our Learning solutions.

Works closely with Global Product Development and other LOBs to ensure continuous refinement of learning solutions aligned to customer needs.

Skill- set required. :

Solid understanding and hands-on experience on Oracle technology products

-{PS..3}->Good Understanding of the latest cloud technologies in the areas of Application development, Cloud Infrastructure, Database Management is required

Basic understanding of Oracle s PaaS/Cloud Infrastructure offerings

-{PS..4}->Understand the migration and coexistence to cloud technologies

Preferred experience in selling PaaS/Cloud Infrastructure to customers or Implementing migration projects

-{PS..5}->Preferred experience in handling configuration and sales of large training deals.

Understanding of competitive offerings in the market.

-{PS..6}->Ability to work in a virtual team involving Sales, Product Development, and other cross LOB functions.

Ability to engage in discussions, white-boarding, impactful presentation and convincing customers.
