Qualified candidates areexpected to provide technical, scientific, and engineering services forthe conduct of cybersecurity and mission assurance assessments of DoDCombatant Commands and Services. All tasks accomplished under the program areperformed IAW DoD documents which provide detailed guidance on the scope ofall assessments as well as the specific methods to be employed in theaccomplishment of assessment tasks. Responsibilities Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare, plan, execute and report activities in support of the DOT&ECybersecurity Assessment Program to include providing in-depth technical andoperational knowledge as related to the cybersecurity (CS) and missionassurance (MA) posture of DoD organizations, weapon systems, weaponssystem operators, and operational decision makersCoordinate, observe, analyze, and report Blue and Red Team activitiesand conduct mission impact analysis during major Combatant Command and ServiceexercisesExecute operationally relevant cybersecurity assessments featuringrepresentative cyber threats to assess how realistic cyber conditions affectCCMD and/or Service abilities to execute their assigned missionsProvide timely feedback to CCMD, Service, and DoD leadership on identifiedproblems, associated mission effects, and successful defensive strategiesShare relevant information with and support those organizations authorized andable to provide remediation and mitigation assistance and to verify thatremediation and mitigation activities are effectiveReport overarching cybersecurity observations and trends for inclusion in theDirector s Annual Report to CongressBe fully capable of conducting assessments in all aspects of cybersecurity,which includes offensive and defensive cyber operations, mission assuranceand operational mission areas Requirements Education and Experience QualificationsBachelor s degree in Computer-Information Technology related field is requiredfor Engineers and is highly desired for Analysts (or may be substituted witha minimum of 8 years of experience)MUST have IAT level II certification as minimum (Security+ CE)Must be knowledgeable of the CND and CNE environmentsExperience with DoD operational weapons systems and mission planning systemsdesired.Joint Exercise planning experience or assessment planning experience highlydesiredExperience in Defensive Cyberspace Operations, Military Operations,Mission Assurance analysis, and technical writing is highly desired forCyber AnalystsExperience in system and network security architecture, networkinteroperability, and logical/infrastructure network experience is highlydesired for Cyber EngineersMust be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while being ableto prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlinesMust have the ability to quickly understand the customers overall technicalobjectives and mission objectives and provide
